If you are already familiar with CrossFit, it’s really up to you on which of the entry points you’d like to start at. We offer a complimentary Drop In class for CrossFit affiliate transfers to see if you like the culture and vibe of our affiliate, but we only recommend this if you are comfortable with all the 9 foundational movements required to do class (DL, SDHP, Clean, Press, Push Press, Jerk, Squat, Front Squat, OHS).
Everyone must “Test Out” prior to joining any of our memberships. We are often asked “Why do I need to test out if I have already done CrossFit before?” The reason is because technique and coaching varies greatly amongst athletes and affiliates. We have found it to be a huge value for both coaching staff at CFPH and our new CFPH athletes to spend at minimum one hour, one on one, to review the finer points of the 9 foundational movements. Our test out is designed to ensure that the 9 foundational movements are being performed proficiently within our athletes’ range of motion and ability.
